About Us

Fresh Writing, sponsored by the University Writing Program at the University of Notre Dame, showcases excellent student writing while considering that students need the opportunity to join existing academic conversations. These essays, then, are often the beginnings of dialogue between students just entering academia and established academics. These essays can also be used in the classroom as models for writing as well as discussions of content and/or writing structure.
