A Flynn Coat of Arms

O' Floinn, Anglicized as O'Flynn, Flynn, O'Lynn, Lynn.

Blazon: Azure, a wolf passant argent, in chief three bezants.
Crest: A dexter hand erect, couped, holding a serpent rail, embowed head to the sinister, all proper.
Motto: Non sine periculo ("Not without danger") yikes!
Anothermotto: Honor praemium virtutis est ("Honor is the reward of virtue")
Whatsamotto:

As far as I can tell, the achievement lacks supporters and the helm is commonly depicted in profile, indicating that the original patent was to a peer or gentleman rather than a knight or prince. The bezants signify gold coins of Byzantine origin.

Note: the requisite genealogical work as yet unperformed, I claim no right to display this achievement. It is a nice design, though. Those interested in heraldry might consult Heraldica or the Digiserve site, or perhaps the Open Directory entry devoted to heraldry.
