Departure 13 August 2011

All FLTAs will be returned by coach to O’Hare International Airport on Saturday morning (13 August 2011). Coaches depart campus at 9:00AM sharp and, baring traffic delays, should arrive at O’Hare by midday. All FLTAs are strongly advised to book flights to their host institutions that depart O’Hare after 2:00PM (local time). FLTAs with flights departing before 2:00PM will have to make their own travel arrangements to O'Hare (see COACH USA). Any FLTA that fails to board the coach on time will be responsible for arranging alternative travel to O’Hare and their host institution.

Post-Orientation

The University of Notre Dame cannot provide accommodation after the orientation. If you have a 'gap' between the Orientation and the availability of accommodation at your host institution, we suggest the following options:
1. Travel to your host university and stay in a hotel/hostel.
2. Travel to Chicago on the Orientation Bus and stay in Chicago. Information regarding Chicago hotels may be found at these sites:
