- Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- Must complete a rigorous high school program of study as designated by their state
- Must be an undergraduate student in the first or second academic year of their four year program (at Notre Dame)
- For a second-year Academic Competitiveness Grant, the student must achieve a cumulative GPA from their first year at Notre Dame of at least a 3.0
An Academic Competitiveness Grant of up to $750 will be awarded to freshmen and up to $1,300 to sophomores who meet these criteria in 2009/2010. The amount of the AC Grant in combination with Federal Pell Grant and other financial aid cannot exceed demonstrated financial need.
