Community Service – Federal Work-Study eligibility required
ND Community – Off-campus positions are posted as a service to the ND faculty, staff and alumni; students are not employed by the University

DOCUMENTS FROM HOME Students planning to work at Notre Dame should be prepared to present the required original, signed, and unexpired document(s) to their employer (e.g., valid passport OR driver’s license AND social security card) to complete the Form I-9. For a complete list of acceptable documents, please review the Form I-9.

HIRING DOCUMENTS All NEW student employees should be prepared to complete the following forms with your employer BEFORE beginning employment:
- Form W-4
- Form WH-4
- Form I-9, accompanied by required supporting documentation as listed on the Form I-9.
- Direct Deposit Election Form
DIRECT DEPOSIT Direct Deposit is the method of payment for all university employees, including students. As an hourly employee, you will be paid bi-weekly via direct deposit to your personal bank account. Please view the Hourly Payroll Calendar for specific pay dates.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS require additional documentation as evidence of work eligibility in the United States. Please click here for detailed information regarding work authorization including a list of eligible campus employers.
