Obtaining a Student Job
- There are more than enough on-campus job opportunities for students at Notre Dame! Keep in mind that it is the student's responsibility to secure employment. Student Employment's Job Board is a great place to begin your search. The Job Board is regularly updated as new positions become available, so check back often.
- All students must comply with federal employment laws and regulations. Once you have secured your first on-campus job, you should be prepared to complete the following employment forms with your hiring department prior to your first day of work:
- NOTE TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS: International students require additional documentation as evidence of work eligibility in the United States. Please click here for more detailed information.
- Record your hours in the University's UltraTime system to ensure that you are paid in a timely manner. If you are unable to use the UltraTime system, submit time cards to your supervisor for verification and sign-off, allowing enough time for delivery to and processing by the Payroll department according to the Payroll Schedule.
