Comments

Our children are articulate, loving, and generally full of curiosity and goodwill.  They have a strong sense of respect for others, and they like each other. We don't have a TV, so their time is spent actively, engaging with interest in everyday work and play around our home. Please be prepared to keep your cell phone put away while you're working with the kids. We live within walking distance of the zoo and Botanical Garden, in a neighborhood with sidewalks good for bike rides and walks. We are looking for a babysitter who enjoys talking with children and giving them something interesting to think about. This job will involve basic care (like preparing snacks and dinner, cleaning up after play and meals, and getting everybody tucked into bed) but also guiding enriching activities like reading stories, cooking & baking, arts & crafts, singing songs, and taking walks. Having your own transportation would be a plus, but it's really not necessary. We'll pick you up and bring you home, as needed.
