Description of Position |
In this Notre Dame-sponsored initiative, students will assist RCLC staff by providing vision and technical skills to overcome the digital divide that affects various residents of the Northeast Neighborhood. This student will work with staff and other students to provide instruction, mentoring, and maintenance of software and hardware in 30 computers throughout facility. |

Qualifications |
Energetic, positive attitude, with a commitment to reducing the digital divide, and to improving university - community relations - Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with many kinds of people - Knowledge of operating systems (including Macintosh and Windows), hardware and software - Diverse software experience, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics packages, web browsers, HTML editors and various utility and file transfer programs. - Ability to communicate technical concepts to individuals of all competency levels. - Organizational skills to prepare class material and Individual Learning Plans for class participants. |
