Description of Position

This student will perform office/administrative tasks basic to the Take Ten program.  These tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Preparing the curriculum binders for all volunteer teams st the start of each semester
- Maintaining volunteer records for all program volunteers, including online applications and waivers, hard copies of the foregoing and background checks
- Communicating with program volunteers as needed, including e-mail and or phone calls regarding required documents and related requirements
- Creating and maintaining the volunteer scheduling grid, including updates as needed
- Working on a Take Ten team at an assigned site at least once p er week, depending on availability
- Making updates and adjustments to the Take Ten website
- Assisting with preparation and dissemination of the quarterly Take Ten newsletter
- Other duties as assigned by the Program Director

Qualifications
Energetic, positive, ability to work independently, to follow directions and multi-task.  Like to work with children and college peers.  Organized, timely and dependable.  Strong knowledge of usual office software, including e-mail programs, Word, Excel and the like.
