Description of Position

This student will help create and update curriculum/teacher manuals for the expansion and development of the Take Ten Program.  Both manual creation and development will be included, as well as training and presentation creation and delivery.  Duties will include but are not limited to, the following:
- Concluding creation of the middle school curriculum manual
- Researching state academic standards and social skills relevant to each chapter of the manual
- Writing chapter introductions for each portion of the manual, specifically describing social skill and academic standard inclusion
- Researching new and additional activities for inclusion into the manaul
- Assisting in developing training materials to various audiences
- Working on a Take Ten team at an assigned site at least once per week, depending on availability

Qualifications
Energetic, positive, ability to work independently, to follow directions and multi-task.  Like to work with children and community members.  Organized, timely and dependable.  Strong knowledge of usual office software including Word, Excel and the like.  Public speaking and writing skills required.
