Description of Position |
The tutor coordinator acts as an intermediary between Dismas and local college students and to oversee tutoring sessions on Tuesday nights. The employee will plan instruction for the tutoring session based upon the need of the individual residents and then effectively communicate with and guide volunteer tutors (typically through written instructions and library resources.) The tutor coordinator will help recruit volunteer tutors and help prepare them for their work, as well as communicating Dismas opportunities and events on the Notre Dame campus. |
