Description of Position	Assist the Adult Basic Education Teacher with Tutoring Adults in: GED preparation and academic enrichment; computer use; Life skills curriculum; job placement examinations; college exams and applications. Responsibilities also include: scoring and recording tests; grading papers; occasionally preparing for and teaching the GED Topic Seminar Course; monitoring and securing all class materials and resources; contributing to the overall operation of the classroom.

Qualifications	Motivates and encourages students; good interpersonal and organizational skills; self motivated and takes initiative; follows directions; computer knowledge is extremely helpful.
Numbers of hours per week	12
Schedule	Monday mornings 8:30-12:3; Monday- Thursday between the hours of 1:00 - 4:30 p.m., Tuesday & Thursday between 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., Wednesday 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
