Presenters should plan on checking in between 9:30 and 10:00 am at the South Entrance of Jordan Hall (instructions for parking are provided below). Each presenter should prepare a 55 minute workshop, which you will deliver to three different groups of girls that will rotate into your room. You will have no more than 13 girls per workshop. Ideally the workshops should provide the girls with:
(1) an idea of what you do in your career
(2) an engaging hands-on experience that highlights your career
(3) information about the type of science and/or math you use in your career
To help prepare for your workshop, see our presenter workshop page (especially helpful for first time presenters!). Remember, if you have any questions about your workshop or additional needs, feel free to contact Tracy Kijewski-Correa (tkijewsk@nd.edu, 574-631-2980).

The EYHND conference will be held at the Jordan Hall of Science, which is directly north of the Joyce Athletic and Convocation Center (JACC) at the University of Notre Dame [campus map]. We ask that all Presenters report to the Presenter Check-In area on the SOUTH END of Jordan Hall. Volunteers will be on hand at that entrance to welcome you and direct you to your workshop room.
If you need to drop off materials or supplies, please do so at the Jordan dock area. You will be met there by EYHND Volunteers to assist you in unloading, so that you may re-park your vehicles in the designated Presenter parking area. Driving and parking information are provided below.
Driving Directions to Notre Dame:
The University of Notre Dame is located just south of the Indiana Toll road (Interstate 80/90) and east of Indiana 933 (old US 31/33 north). The information below is passenger cars and bus parking. All parents and groups are asked to park in the location indicated and walk to Jordan Hall to drop off and pick up the girls attending EYHND.
From the north: From the Toll Road, exit Interstate 80/90 at exit 77 and turn onto Michigan St. (Indiana 933), heading south. Drive south until you reach Angela Boulevard, which should be the first stop light south of the Toll Road exit, Douglas Road. Turn left onto Douglas, heading east. Drive east on Douglas through 1 stop light and continue east until you reach the round-about (Twyckenham Dr.). Take enter the round-about in the right lane and exit onto Twyckenham Dr. (you will only be on the round-about for a moment). Drive south on Twyckenham until you reach the stop light at Bulla Rd. Turn right (west) onto Bulla Rd. and continue with the Parking Directions below.
From the south: As you travel north on US 31, continue north as it becomes Indiana 933 in order to travel directly north through South Bend. Stay on Indiana 933 to Angela Boulevard, which is the second stop light north of the St. Joseph River (this is a lengthy drive and you will travel through many stop lights through town). Turn right onto Angela Boulevard, heading east. Drive east on Angela through 2 stop lights (Notre Dame Avenue and Juniper Road). At the third stop light, you will be turning left (north) onto Twyckenham Dr. Drive north on Twyckenham until you reach the stop light at Bulla Rd. Turn left (west) onto Bulla Rd. and continue with the Parking Directions below.
Drive west on Bulla Rd. to the stop sign at Leahy Dr. Turn left (south) onto Leahy at the stop sign. On the right side (west side) of Leahy, you will access the Jordan Hall dock. Note this is past the Presenter Parking area. You make park in the dock to load and unload your materials and then must re-park your vehicle. Presenters may park in the Pasquerilla Center (ROTC) lot directly east of Pasquerilla Center. Use the Library Circle Access Road to gain access to this lot.
After exiting your vehicle, walk south around the Pasquerilla Center (ROTC) building (to access the Jordan Hall North Entrance). EYHND is inside the building on the south side of the entrance. Please follow the signs and check in.
Again, we ask all EYHND Presenters to report to the south end of Jordan Hall for check-in.
