Toy Modification1

We are currently modifying toys for an organization that provides a lending library of toys for developmentally disabled children. Many of these toys are modified to accommodate the needs of these children, mainly by rewiring the electric circuitry so the toy can be turned on and off with enlarged switch plates. Our group also repairs a number of toys whose electronic components are no longer functional.

As part of the toy modification process, we are currently working on a manual that can be sent to parents with developmentally disabled children that details the process of adding a switch plate to the toy. It is our hope that the manual will be able to guide the parent through the modification process so that it could be done at home.

IT Projects IT1

We have been involved with a number of projects that support the information technology needs of our clients. These projects include designing and creating new websites, updating existing websites, creating dynamic database systems and interfaces, and helping organizations assess technological needs. IT2

Our main goal in the projects dealing with IT is assuring client ownership of the finished product. This involves not only designing and implementing the product, but also ensuring that the end user is properly instructed on the use and maintenance of the technology.
