The College of Engineering Learning Center Staff In the Engineering Learning Center, students can ask questions with confidence. Unlike many computer clusters or open laboratories, a team of Peer Mentors works with students individually and as groups, offering their expertise in different fields and experience on a variety of equipment. In addition to Peer Mentors, a full-time professional engineer manages the Center. Open 12 hours a day, the Center will always be staffed by a manager who will be able to assist students and groups with their project needs. The Center's Manager — Natalie Gedde Natalie Gedde is the Engineering Learning Center Manager. She is a professional engineer with degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering. Her background in computer analysis and design, software development, programming, and simluations adds to the other talents she brings to the Center. In addition to managing the Center, she works with faculty in developing the projects and providing the supporting equipment for new course in the College. Gedde joined the University in May 2000. She has a M.S. in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana.
	Student Assistants are hired on a semester-by-semester basis. While some of the Student Assistants will remain the same, due to scheduling conflicts the College anticipates needing to hire replacements for some of the assistants.
