McCourtney Learning Center Staff In the McCourtney
Learning Center, students can ask questions with confidence. Unlike many
computer clusters or open laboratories, a team of Student Assistants work with
students individually and as groups, offering their expertise in different
fields and experience on a variety of equipment. In addition to student workers,
a full-time engineer manages the Center. |
The Center's Manager — Natalie
Gedde Natalie Gedde
is the McCourtney Learning Center Manager. She is an engineer
with degrees in mechanical and electrical engineering. Her background
in computer analysis and design, software development, programming, and
simulations adds to the other talents she brings to the Center. In addition
to managing the Center, she works with faculty in developing the projects
and providing the supporting equipment for new course in the College.Gedde joined the University in May 2000. She has a M.S. in electrical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana. |
| Student Assistants are hired on a semester-by-semester basis. While some of the Student Assistants will remain the same, due to scheduling conflicts the College anticipates needing to hire replacements for some of the assistants.
