Spain is a land rich in history and culture. During the six weeks in Spain, there will be five weekends for excursions to sites of engineering, cultural and religious significance. The excursions will vary based on cost and availability, but the potential destinations are briefly described here.

It is expected that two or three excursions will be organized, leaving the student with three or four free weekends. Since Alcoy is in the vicinity of Benidorm and Valencia, students will have access to these locations in their free time and therefore these locations are not listed with the excursions. The potential excursions are: 1. Granada and the Alhambra 2. World Expo in Zaragoza and Lourdes 3. Glbraltar, Ronda, and the Costa del Sol 4. Cruise to Mallorca 5. Pilgrimage to the Holy City of Caravaca 6. Barcelona In addition, There will be technical excursions.
