Coursework
The classes that will be offered are 1) Ethical and Professional Issues in Engineering and 2) Introduction to Probability and Statistics. Both classes will be taught in English; A Notre Dame faculty member will 
teach the ethics course, and a faculty member from Alcoy fluent in English will teach probability. (English classes are routinely taught at Alcoy as part of European Union education initiatives.) Depending on your major, these classes will count as either required courses or technical electives.

The College of Engineering Summer program will take place at the Polytechnic University of Valencia at Alcoy. Alcoy is an inland town in the vicinity of Valencia and the beaches of the Costa Blanca, Alicante and Benidorm. The program is open to all majors.
Dates
The Summer program will take place over a six-week timeframe, from May 11-June 20, 2008. This is immediately after final exams, and will allow a large portion of the summer for internships.
Schedule
Classes will take place four days per week, with two hours of lecture per day.
Cost
The preliminary estimate for costs, including room and board, is $5500.00.
