FALL Program. Currently 150
juniors from a variety of colleges within the University participate in
the London Program. Courses are taught by Notre Dame faculty as well as
faculty from the University of London and other British universities.
During the fall semester engineering students can fulfill both college
and university requirements with their London work; special care is taken
to guarantee that they continue to make appropriate progress toward their
degrees. A major component of the program is for all students to experience
the fine and performing arts in London. This includes attending at least
nine theatrical, musical, or dance productions and becoming familiar with
London's museums. http://www.nd.edu/~intlstud/locations/uk/london.html SUMMER PROGRAM. The Summer
Engineering Program offers all students in the College of Engineering
an enriching educational experience in a foreign study environment as
well as an opportunity to experience the globalization of industry and
the impact of multinational corporation operations on U.S. engineers.
The six-week program consists of two three-credit courses taught by regular
Notre Dame faculty and field trips to significant engineering projects.
Classes meet four days a week, leaving weekends available for travel in
the British Isles or on the continent.
