Financial Aid
Students are usually supported by research and teaching assistantships as well
as fellowships and traineeships from federal agencies and industry. This
support normally includes a competitive stipend plus tuition. Specific
information may be obtained from the department or school in which the
student plans to enroll.
Tuition and Cost
For the full-time graduate student, the tuition for the academic
year 2007-2008
is $34,580. Tuition for the part-time student
is $1,922 per semester credit hour.
In the academic year, the normal charge for an audited course is one half the
current credit hour fee. However, a full-time graduate student may audit a
course, or courses, without charge. The department determines the definition
of full time.
Most students receive financial aid. Details are provided by individual departments.
