Robert L. Alworth, director
of the Integrated Engineering and Business Practices program, graduated
from Notre Dame with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He also holds
a master's degree in materials science and engineering from Cornell University. Alworth comes to the University with more than 34 years' experience
in industry. His expertise in domestic and international business operations — specifically customer service, manufacturing, marketing, product development, and sales — will prove a valuable resource to students in the Integrated
Engineering and Business Practices Program.

John
M. Brauer, associate
director of the program, graduated from the University of Buffalo with
both a bachelor's and master's degree in chemical engineering. He comes
to Notre Dame with 34 years of industrial experience, the last 29 of
which were spent at IBM in a variety of managerial positions. His experience
in process development, manufacturing, quality, facilities management,
and environmental health and safety serve as a complement to Alworth's
experience.
