MINORITY ENGINEERING PROGRAM

The Minority Engineering Program (MEP) was established in 1987 by the College of Engineering. Through various programming initiatives aimed at challenging and encouraging minority students in their pursuit of undergraduate degrees, the MEP cultivates the leadership skills that will prepare students for successful careers in engineering.

Opportunities within MEP include:

  • Ameritech Pre-college Minority Engineering Program (APMEP)

  • Internships, scholarships, and job opportunities as teaching assistants and engineering assistants are also available.
