COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING GRADUATE STUDENT AWARDS

Kenneth Farrow, who received a M.S. in civil engineering and geological sciences, was awarded the Precast/Pre-stressed Concrete Institute Daniel P. Jenny Fellowship.

Sara Nicholl, civil engineering and geological sciences, received the Dondanville Family Award, presented to the graduate student who has been most effective in working with undergraduate students in a teaching situation.

Laurent Thiers, a doctoral candidate in chemical engineering, received the 2002 Eli J. and Helen Shaheen Graduate School award for engineering. Named in honor of a Notre Dame alumnus and his wife, the award recognizes the top graduating doctoral degree recipients in a specific field.

Gaurav Arya, graduate student in chemical engineering, was the winner of the 2002 SGI Award for Computational Science and Visualization for engineering.

The Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning at the University of Notre Dame honored the following graduate students with its third annual Outstanding Graduate Student Teaching Awards:
