One of only four centers funded by the Semiconductor Research Corporation’s Nanoelectronics Research Initiative, the Midwest Institute for Nanoelectronics Discovery at Notre Dame seeks to develop the next nanoscale logic device, the building block of future computers. A collaborative team of universities, national laboratories, and other researchers, led by College of Engineering faculty, is organized around two themes: energy-efficient devices and energy-efficient systems.
