Career Opportunities

Below is a list of education programs, in which former ESS students are currently employed. Also included are the names and e-mail addresses of those involved. Please feel free to contact them for any additional information.

ACE and ACE Partner Programs
http://ace.nd.edu/

The Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) is a two-year service program allowing college graduates to serve as full-time teachers in under-resourced Catholic schools across the southern United States. Graduates are awarded a tuition-free Master of Education degree from the University of Notre Dame. ACE teachers represent a broad variety of undergraduate disciplines, with a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences.

ACE teachers spend two summers (June-July) studying in the Master of Education program at Notre Dame and two school years (August-May) teaching in under-resourced Catholic schools. While teaching, participants live in small communities of 4-7 members and together share the many challenges
and rewards of beginning teaching. ACE participants are encouraged to develop their own personal spirituality and faith in the context of community, and to share with one another the journey of becoming committed Catholic school teachers.
