Melissa Cowell is in the Teacher Certification Program at Bethel College in South Bend.
Amy Grinsteinner will be in the teaching certification program at MN State Univ.
Sissy Peters will be working on a Master's Degree in Special Ed. at Vanderbilt University
Maggie Thomas will be in the MSW program at Univ of IL at Champaign-Urbana.
Melissa Vondriska will be in the School Pyschologist program at Ohio State University.
Elizabeth Young will be teaching at Cristo Rey Jesuit HS, Chicago.

Career Opportunities
Below is a list of education programs, in which former ESS students
are currently employed. Also included are the names and e-mail addresses
of those involved. Please feel free to contact them for any additional
information.
ACE and ACE Partner Programs

The Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) is a two-year service
program allowing college graduates to serve as full-time teachers
in under-resourced Catholic schools across the southern United
States. Graduates are awarded a tuition-free Master of Education
degree from the University of Notre Dame. ACE teachers represent
a broad variety of undergraduate disciplines, with a diverse set
of backgrounds and experiences.
ACE teachers spend two summers (June-July) studying in the Master
of Education program at Notre Dame and two school years (August-May)
teaching in under-resourced Catholic schools. While teaching,
participants live in small communities of 4-7 members and together
share the many challenges
and rewards of beginning teaching. ACE participants are encouraged
to develop their own personal spirituality and faith in the context
of community, and to share with one another the journey of becoming
committed Catholic school teachers.

program in which talented high school and college students teach

The NYC Teaching Fellows is a highly selective program that mobilizes
talented graduates and mid-career professionals to teach in New
York City’s most challenging classrooms.
No previous teaching experience or coursework is required to
become a Fellow. Key components of the program include:
