Teaching

The education of our students, both undergraduate and graduate, is the reason Notre Dame exists. In CBE we believe that a broad, fundamental education is the best way to serve our undergraduate students. The primary vehicle for graduate education is a small number of specialized courses and in-depth thesis research. We also believe undergraduate students benefit from conducting research, as they learn best by doing and also they can experienve the thrill of advancing knowledge in a field.

Trustee of the CACHE Corporation, a not-for-profit organization founded in 1969 to promote cooperation among universities, industry and government in the development and distribution of computer-related educational aids for the chemical engineering profession.
