Ros's main research interests are the development, trade and macroeconomic problems of developing countries. His most recent book is Development Theory and the Economics of Growth (Michigan, 2000). He has edited or written four other books and two monographs. He is also author of over fifty articles in peer reviewed or solicited journals and books. Member of editorial boards of several scholarly journals in Europe and Latin America, he currently serves in the Executive Committee of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association (LACEA). Current research projects include the economic consequences of dollarization and alternative exchange rate regimes in Latin America.
