Notes
All Notre Dame academica year and spring semester students must register with the GNIB.
It is probably best to register with the GNIB as soon as you can when you arrive in Dublin so all of your documents are as recent as possible. You may get turned away if you show them letters or statements that are even a couple months old.
You can go early in the morning if you want to fight the crowd, but the quickest and probably best time to go is at night, after 7pm.
To get to the office, just walk down Westmoreland Street and turn right just before the river into Burgh Quay. Walk past Q Bar and Messr Maguire's. Keep walking for a block or 2, and the Immigration Office will be just a little ways down on your right side.
You may not have to show all of the documentation listed above. However, it is best to have all in case you need them.
