T-Score on graded items:
Average: 0.628
Adjusted: 0.735
The t-score is the difference between your score and the class average
divided by the standard deviation. A positive number means that your
score was above the class average, negative number means that your
score was below the class average.
The average t-score is computed based on the examinations and the
overall points earned on the homework. The adjusted t-score is computed
by weighting your lowest t-score by 50% to reduce the impact of one bad
score.
The adjusted t-score is an important factor in determining your final
course grade. Please note, however, that it is not the only factor
taken into account, and the instructors reserve the right to adjust the
grade according to other measures of performance, including class
attendence, participation, and other subjective measures. With these
comments in mind, you can use the following grading curve allows as a
rough estimate of how you stand in the course.
