Daniel Schlosberg, piano, was born in Los Angeles. He appears regularly on such series as Bargemusic (Brooklyn), the Embassy Series (Washington, D.C.), and on live radio broadcast recitals from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Prior to being appointed Artist-in-Residence at the University of Notre Dame, he served as an accompanist in Sarasota, FL and Shelter Island, NY for the Perlman Music Program, headed by faculty violinist Itzhak Perlman.

In 2000, Mr. Schlosberg held the Leonard Bernstein Fellowship in piano at Tanglewood. The same summer, he took part in a special collaboration with the Paul Taylor Dance Company at the Jacob's Pillow festival in performances of solo Debussy. He has also appeared at the summer festivals of Taos, Aspen, and Aldeburgh. Other projects of note include recitals at Weill Hall and in France and Italy as a fellow of the La Gesse Foundation, an appearance at the innaugural Amagansett Chamber Music Festival, and a recital at the Israeli Embassy, presented in conjunction with the Smithsonian Institutions. He is a member of Yarn/Wire, a piano and percussion quartet dedicated to performing the music of our time. In 2007, the group will give concerts in New York, Massachusetts and Tennessee. Other upcoming performances include a solo recital on the Dame Myra Hess series in Chicago.

Ryan de Ryke, baritone, has performed at many of the leading international music festivals including the Aldeburgh Festival in the UK and the festival at Aix-en-Provence in France. Apart from his exciting recital career, Ryan has worked with many early music ensembles including the Orchestra of the 17th Century, the Baltimore Handel Choir, the Bach Sinfonia, the Ciciliana Quartet, the Apollo Chorus of Chicago and Ignoti Dei Opera. Ryan’s operatic roles include the title roles in Monteverdi’s l’Orfeo, Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, Blow’s Venus and Adonis, Giove in Cavalli’s La Calisto, Nardo in Mozart's La Finta Giardiniera and Oberon in Britten’s Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Ryan is an alumnus of the Britten-Pears Institute where he developed a partnership with Roger Vignoles, with whom he will perform a recital of Brel and Weill in Spain. Recent appearances include a Hugo Wolf program on the Fazioli Series (broadcast on WFMT), and annual appearanaces at the Chicago Schubertiade. His major teachers were Ian Partridge at the Royal Academy of Music, London and John Shirley-Quirk at the Peabody Conservatory. He now coaches frequently with Susan Youens.
