MORAL PSYCHOLOGY LABORATORY at NOTRE DAME

The Moral Psychology Lab at Notre Dame uses cognitive experimental methods to study personality and developmental differences informed by moral philosophy.

Topics under study in recent years include:

personal identity, ideological postures, academic integrity, socio-moral judgment, videogaming, attachment and aggression. Based on student interest, other projects have included, children’s media, the effects of multicultural experience, and social perspective taking.

 

 

Past undergraduate students in our laboratory have had the opportunity to:

 

Help conceptualize and design studies

Collect, enter, and score data

Present findings at conferences

Co-author papers

Assist in summer research
