STATA/Juvenile Delinquency Data Files: The juvdel.dta data file is from a study of juvenile delinquency conducted by Micheal Hindelang of the State University of New York during the 1970s. The original data was collected from a random sample of 1100 adolescents from age 11 to 18. A reduced random sample of 300 subjects if include in the juvdel.dta data set. Two files are included. The STATA data file: juvdel.dta 300 radomly chosen respondents. And the file you are currently reading: juvcode.txt Contains definition information for all the variables in the data file. This information includes the variable label, value labels, and missing data codes. You can access this file using any text editor or word processor, and you may want to print it, to have it available as a reference.
