w e l c o m e. . .

Racism, classism, heterosexism, sexism.
Self-segregation, ignorance, silent tension.

Are you interested in discussing diversity issues at Notre Dame? These shared concerns have brought us together at Sustained Dialogue. SD@ND serves as a catalyst for changing the ND student body by bringing together people from different groups and opening lines of communication in a safe space.
Over the course of a year, each Sustained Dialogue group will address the issues they see in the community by building trust, forging relationships, and instigating action.

Sustained Dialogue is a unique process because of its:
  • Voluntary participation
  • Focus on building relationships through dialogue
  • Addressing personal experiences and transforms each individual differently
  • Meetings sustained over time
  • Learning expanded to the greater community through action
