Dr. Go's directs the Small Scale Transport Research Laboratory in the Fitzpatrick Hall of Engineering and conducts energy efficiency research as part of the University of Notre Dame's Green Cloud initiative.
In the SST Lab, we focus on three main topics, electrohydrodynamics, microplasmas, and mass spectrometry, and seek to understand the fundamental phenomena, engineer new technology, and solve problems of high importance in order to solve the grand challenges of our world. Our research is highly interdisciplinary bridging fields from mechanical and electricla engineering to analytical chemistry and applied physics. Dr. Go actively engages collaborators across different disciplines and has advised or co-advised students from aerospace and mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, and chemistry.
Dr. Go is a part of both the Advanced Diagnostics and Therapeutics and Center for Nano Science and Technology research initiatives at Notre Dame.
Dr. Go is actively seeking highly motivated, energetic, and creative students for his laboratory. For more information click here.
