Final words from Lishtaar

Well, this is the last post I'm going to make on this site.

It's been quite a journey.  I really had no idea when I made this site that I would be doing it every single Monday through Friday (with the occasional Saturday update) for more than 5 years.  I started this site just on a whim, I was bored at work and thought it might be a neat little project to attempt.  Then I realized that the site could be helpful to my fellow guildies so I decided to keep it going.  Looking back through the old news posts I found that I updated this site with a total of 1,465 posts (including this one) over the course of 67 months.  So yeah, I think I've earned this retirement. :)  It's been a real rollercoaster but I can honestly say it has been worth it.

If you still need your fix of WoW news I'm guessing you've figured out what sites I typically use for my sources: MMO-Champion, WoWHeadNews, and WoWInsider are the main ones.  I checked those three every day and they're all worth your time and attention so be sure to bookmark them.  I'll keep my site up for a while, in case you're ever feeling nostalgic and want to browse through the old news.  And feel free to keep in touch with me

I know some of you will be sad that I won't be updating anymore.  I have had some very loyal followers, even some people who quit playing WoW but still check this site every day.  So whether you only visited the site once or you're a daily visitor, I want to thank you.  I made Within the Shadows for you, and you're the ones I kept it going for.

And with that said, Lishtaar prowls away into the shadows.
