A grant up to $500 is available to support research related activities. To be considered for the grant, fill in the information below and submit the following along with this form:

 

  • 1 page (max.), single-spaced research proposal. Your research must be clearly related to the study of social movements. In your proposal, you must state how you expect your research to contribute to social movement scholarship.

 

  • Detailed expenses with justification for costs. The grant helps to cover the cost of research related materials, such as statistical software, books, databases, etc.

All applications will be reviewed by the Director of Notre Dame’s Center for the Study of Social Movements and Social Change. Although there is no limit to the number of times a student can apply for this grant, preference will be given to applicants who have not received prior support through this program.  Successful applicants will be contacted within two weeks of submitting the application.
