It is with regret that we announce that the Christian Scholars Lecture Series Program, funded by The Pew Charitable Trusts, has been cancelled. No new lectures will be funded. This decision was made for reasons unrelated to the lecture series or its goals. We thank all of the schools, campus ministry groups and scholars who have participated in the lecture series.
Each year the Christian Scholars Lecture Series will fund up to twenty-five lectures by Christian scholars at major universities and leading liberal arts colleges across the country.
The program seeks to enrich the intellectual resources available for on-campus Christian student groups like the Newman Centers and Inter Varsity Christian Fellowships. It also offers Christian scholars an opportunity to speak on their current research in various an academic settings.
