WorkshopsThe project will sponsor two two-day workshops at the University of Notre Dame. The first, in the spring of 2011, will focus on the problem of evil in the early modern period. The second, in the spring of 2012, will focus on skeptical theism in contemporary philosophy of religion. The workshops will be organized by the Templeton fellows in residence and the directors and staff of the Center for Philosophy of Religion.
These more intimate workshops will enable the residential fellows to showcase and receive feedback on their work from leading experts in their fields, which will in turn promote broader research agendas on these topics. It will also provide a capstone event for the year’s activities and will expand the number of those involved in the overall project.
Further workshop details will become available once the Fellows have been selected.
