Do you accept applications via fax or email? We prefer hard copies. However, we will accept application materials from international applicants via email.

Who is eligible for the Frederick J. Crosson fellowship? This fellowship is intended for those who are either in disciplines other than philosophy or in departments (philosophy or otherwise) outside the Anglo-American philosophical community.

Regarding the Visiting Graduate fellowship, what criteria are you looking for? We give preference to graduate students who are at least in their 4th or 5th year of studies, working on their dissertation. The committee looks for applicants with interesting projects that are substantially connected with topics in philosophy of religion.

Who should write the letters of recommendation and what should they include? Letters of recommendation should come from professional philosophers or, for prospective Crosson Fellows, professors within your own discipline, who can comment on the merits of your research project, your overall academic ability, and your ability to make productive use of your time in the Center.

In which languages can the letters of recommendation be written in? The letters must be written in English.

When will I hear whether or not I have been selected for a fellowship? We expect that all applicants will be notified via email no later than March 1.
