Frank and Ted,

I thought I'd pipe in here since you asked!! I was also an '86 graduate of
COTH with a second in CAPP. I was on the theatre side of COTH so don't
really have any insight on "Waiting for Gdansk" or most of the "permanent"
side of the COTH major. (theatre being a fleeting art that is done for a live
audience not to be put on cellulose).

I was there though for the "Faust era." In fact I was Ted's roommate in a
triple in Flanner our freshman year. I'm sure Ted might admit to that!! :>)

I decided though to pursue the CAPP side of my major, so I'm not really
working much in the performing arts but do see a show whenever possible. I
do consider programming an art though!! I am enjoying hearing from some
of you; it is very interesting to see what's happening with UND COTH
majors.

regards,
Chris Pomasl

Ted,
I dare you, nay defy you, to show "Waiting for Gdansk" by one Richard
Audino '86. It was his studio project so it may be on 1/2" or 3/4" (that
is if the image ever actually stuck to the video tape). Now there's a
classic.
I also dare any of you reading this list from "the Faust Era" to step up
and respond. I find it hard to believe that Ted and I are the only ones
from that time that are into this whole computer thing. On second
thought, I remember some of our classmates, and I guess I'm not
surprised ("Check your fucus, camera three." Raphael Benevente)
