E-mail Dr. Blachly

The concert choir of the University of Notre Dame, the Chorale is a concert ensemble of 60+ voices specializing in choral works from the Renaissance to the present. The Chorale performs a joint concert with the Notre Dame Chamber Orchestra twice each semester. In addition, the Chorale performs Handel's Messiah with the Chamber Orchestra in December to sold-out audiences.

Each year's events include a Fall Weekend Tour in October, a Fall Concert on campus in November, the December Messiah performances, a Winter Tour to distant cities in January, a Spring Weekend Tour in April, a Spring Concert on campus just after Spring Tour, a concert on Friday afternoon during Commencement Weekend, and participation in the Baccalaureate Mass during Commencement Weekend (Saturday, mid-May). Recent tours have taken the Chorale to various locations in Europe and the United States, including stops in France, Bavaria, Austria, Italy, and England.
