MicroPumps
We have a portfolio of highly controllable micropumps that have a broad range of flow rates and pressures. These AC and DC micropumps are the backbone to chip-based diagnostics that rely heavily on moving fluid from one region to another. Unfortunately, mechanical pumps are expensive and unreliable on this scale. Our electrokinetic micropumps offer precision and power on even the smallest of scales.
- Parallel Electrode Micropump. The DC-biased AC micropump makes use of capacitive and Faradaic charging to impart centimeter/second velocities.
- Serpentine Micropump. This clip illustrates how a broad range of flow rates can be achieved with a single AC micropump.
- T-Electrode Micropump. The T-electrode AC micropump is a powerful tool for moving samples through microfluidic channels.
