MicroMixers
Our AC micromixers make particle-particle interactions happen 100 times faster than diffusion. Reactions and antibody/antigen binding are slow even on a microscale when the only driving force for particle-particle interactions is Brownian motion. We use electrokinetics to create intense vortices that rapidly mix two or more streams. Our micromixers take minutes of unnecessary waiting out of the equation and enable a total sample processing time of just seconds.

The green and red dye are completely mixed after just 30 seconds.
- T-Electrode Micromixer. The T-electrode micromixer uses just the electrodes to drive the extremely fast mixing of multiple streams.
- Ion-Exchange Micromixer. The ion-exchange bead uses AC electrokinetics to mix the green and red dyes in a matter of seconds. In the absence of the AC micromixer, the dyes would have taken 30 minutes to completely mix.
