Our students are an integral part to making TBAB a tremendous success, year in and year out. Here are a few testimonials from students who've participated and organized this event:
I first got involved with The Bald and The Beautiful as a freshman in Duncan Hall and have shaved my head every year since. While the donation of my hair is only a small contribution, the feeling of solidarity is overwhelming and serves as a unifying force in the fight against pediatric cancer.

I lost a friend to cancer ... She was special to so many people and is missed dearly everyday. So when I saw the ad for The Bald and The Beautiful, I committed myself to shaving my head ... It was a natural, very easy decision.

These women, they get so much more...self confidence through the hair, the wigs they get, so if I can give somebody else self confidence, that's just awesome.

Being a part of this event each year is very inspiring. The commitment and enthusiasm from our participants and supporters give The Bald & The Beautiful a unique personality, and the sense of connection to a cause and a community is overwhelming. I believe that this is the magic element that keeps people coming back to share in this year after year.
