Event Description
Spend a day at the Warren Dunes relaxing on the beach, playing Frisbee, or dominating beach volleyball. A Jimmy John's boxed lunch is included with the ticket, and you will be able to sit back and relax as we transport you to the largest sand dunes in Indiana. Buses will start returning to campus at 3 pm.
Just a word of warning: some rigorous walking may be involved.

- Only students with appropriate behavior will be permitted to participate in this event.
- Any student who started at the University of Notre Dame in the Fall of 2005, transferred into this class, is participating in ND commencement exercises, graduated in August 2008 or January 2009, or is a 4th year Architecture student may participate in 2009 Senior Week activities.
- Limited tickets for this event are available on a first-come, first-served basis. PRICE: $10. Online sales start Friday, April 17, 2009.
- A Jimmy Johns lunch is included in the purchase of ticket.
- Due to a washed out road, participants must walk about 10 minutes through the dunes from the drop off point to get to the beach. Students are not permitted to complain.
- Students are not permitted to bring alcohol onto the bus.
Departure trip information:
- Buses load at the Notre Dame Joyce Center C1 Lot (south of the JACC) at 10:30am, Eastern Time.
- Buses will depart as they fill, and will go straight from the Dunes back to ND. There will not be a stop on the way.
- Upon boarding the bus, students must present ND ID and the ticket issued for this event.
- Tickets are non-transferable; only students whose names are on the list of those who purchased tickets for this event will be permitted to participate.
Return trip information:
- The first bus will leave when full around 3:30 to return to ND. Busses will continue to leave when full, depending on demand.
- The buses will NOT make a stop on the return trip.
- All students who arrive by ND reserved coach bus are required to return by ND reserved coach bus.
- In all situations, look for ND Senior Week volunteers and signs for directions and assistance.
- Last bus should arrive back to campus no later than 6:30 pm.
Chicken Jackson Concert @ Legends - FREE (No Ticket Required)

Come see the Class of 2009's own premier band at Legends one final time. FREE PIZZA will be provided on a first come, first serve basis.

Trip to Six Flags Great America - SOLD OUT

Limited tickets are allotted for this event (350) so be sure to sign up early. All seniors planning on attending must ride the buses where a full day of riding roller coasters and a free all-you-can-eat meal await, so get your ticket quickly!

- Six Flags closes at 8pm. Buses will begin loading for departure immediately following the closing of the park. The final bus will leave no later than 8:30pm. Be sure you are on the bus well before 8:15pm!
- The buses will NOT make a stop on the return trip.
- All students who arrive by ND reserved coach bus are required to return by ND
reserved coach bus.
- In all situations, look for ND Senior Week volunteers and signs for directions and assistance.
- Buses should arrive back to campus between 11:30 pm and 12am.
MONDAY
Paintballing - $15 (200 available spots, Ticket sales in person on Ticket Pick Up Day, April 29th)

Mishawaka Paintball, Mishawaka - First round of vans leaves promptly at 12:00 pm.
Must have signed up and must ride van to participate
Event Description
Sign up your team of 10 to play against another team of 10 for a half hour. Transportation, ammo, safety gear, and paintball guns will be supplied, you just have to remember to wear old clothes and get ready to dodge and weave.
Tickets must be purchased and teams registered during Senior Week Ticket Pick Up Day (April 29th).

- Vans will promptly leave on the hour, and will go straight from ND to the paintballing facility.

An awesome night of bowling, friendship, and free food. Seniors must ride the buses provided to Chippewa, and should remember to bring socks!

Event Description
Go Cubs Go! The Cubs are playing the Sand Diego Padres starting at 7:30pm, and you will be able to catch the action at historic Wrigley Field. Seniors MUST take the bus in order to receive their game ticket. Buses leave in time to catch dinner before the game in Wrigleyville and should return around midnight. This is not something you will want to miss!

- Only students with appropriate behavior will be permitted to participate in this event.

- Everyone must ride the bus in order to receive their game ticket and participate in this Senior Week trip.

- Cubs game tickets will be distributed en route to the stadium. Only those who are on the bus will receive a ticket to the game must ride bus to participate

Return trip information:
- Buses will begin loading and departing from Wrigley Field immediately following the conclusion of the game.
- All buses will depart within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the game.
- All buses will return directly to the Notre Dame campus.
- Students are not permitted to bring alcohol on the bus.
- In all situations, look for ND Senior Week volunteers and signs for directions and assistance.
Rain/Weather Delays or Game Cancellation Information:
- In case of weather delay or extra innings, buses will begin loading and departing immediately following the conclusion of the game, and should all depart by 10:30 PM, Central Time. Should the weather delay extend playing time beyond 10:30 PM, buses will still begin loading and should all have departed by 10:30 PM, Central Time.
- If the game is cancelled after play has begun, buses will begin departing immediately following announcement of the cancellation.
- If the game is cancelled before the game begins, buses that have already dropped off students will return to pick up all students immediately following the announcement of cancellation.
- Any buses en route to Chicago at the time of cancellation will immediately return to campus, regardless of their location, without stopping.
- Students are not permitted to bring alcohol on the bus.
- In all situations, look for ND Senior Week volunteers and signs for directions and assistance.
WEDNESDAY
Senior Class Commencement Ball @ The Century Center - $30 Online (Unlimited Tickets)
Century Center, Downtown South Bend

Event Description
Come celebrate commencement with all of your classmates and friends. BLAMMO, a cover band, and a DJ will be providing the live entertainment throughout the evening. The Ball is the one last night us seniors have to ourselves before we enter commencement weekend. If you plan on bringing a guest (non-ND senior), make sure to purchase their ticket at Ticket Pick Up (April 29th). Tickets will be available at the door, but they are an extra $10 � so go ahead a buy the ticket online, you will end up going.

- Students must bring their Notre Dame ID to attend the event.
- Only students with appropriate behavior will be permitted to participate in this event.
- If you are over 21 and wish to purchase beverages from the cash bar, make sure you bring your state issued ID.
- There is no ATM in the facility. PLEASE PLAN AHEAD. Students will not be permitted to re-enter the Commencement Ball after leaving.
- Any student who started at the University of Notre Dame in the Fall of 2005, transferred into this class, is participating in ND commencement exercises, graduated in August 2008 or January 2009, or is a 4th year Architecture student may participate in 2009 Senior Week activities.
- Unlimited tickets for this event are available. PRICE: $30 in advance, $40 at the door.
- Upon entering the event, students must present the ticket issued for this event or may purchase the ticket at the door.
- Students may not bring their own alcohol to this event or on the bus.
Transportation information:
- Buses will be continually departing various convenient on- and off- campus locations between 8:30 and 10pm. The bus route will be determined with the results of a future survey for which you will receive a link in the coming days.
- No one may enter the Commencement Ball after 10:30pm.
- Buses will return to these locations at the conclusion of the Commencement Ball.
Guest information:
If you are interested in bringing a guest to this event who is not a member of the graduating Class of 2009, please note:
- There will be NO guest tickets sold at the door!
- Guest tickets will ONLY be sold at South Dining Hall on Wednesday, April 29 from 12-5pm.
- If you are interested in obtaining permission to bring a guest (non-ND senior), guest tickets are $40 and will only be available at the Ticket Pick Up (April 29th). Guests must be at least 21 years of age if they are not a student at Notre Dame, St. Mary's, or Holy Cross College. Hosts must provide the name, age, and school/hometown identification information of their guest at the time the guest ticket is purchased. Guest tickets are not available at the door of the Commencement Ball
