Matteo Bianchetti received his PhD. from the Philosophy
Department in 2021. I supervised his thesis, "Geometric
representations in mathematical problem-solving: intuition
and creativity."
o
Paul Tran-Hoang received his PhD. from the Philosophy
Department in 2020. I co-supervised his thesis, "A model-theoretic
approach to logicism," with Tim Bays. (I also co-supervised, with
Anand Pillay, his MSIM thesis on Galois cohomology.)

and the epistemology of climate science," with Anjan
Chakravartty.

Future
|
I am available to supervise doctoral work on a wide
range of projects in the history and philosophy of logic. I
am also available to supervise particular sorts of projects
on the philosophy of mathematics, on general and structural
proof theory, and on themes related to naturalism and
pragmatism.
