Triple Quadrupole LCMS
Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry combines the physical separation capabilities of liquid chromatography with the mass analysis capabilities of mass spectrometry. LC-MS is a powerful technique with high sensitivity and specificity. Generally its application is oriented towards the specific detection and potential identification of chemicals in the presence of other chemicals (in a complex mixture). This system features a triple quadropole design with an Electrospray and atmospheric pressure inlet devise that can allow for large molecular analysis. MSMS capabilities are available allowing researchers the ability to trace molecular fragments. It also features a Micro LC that flows into the MS in the nanoliter range available for micro sampling analysis.
