Civil Engineering Service Projects (CESP)

The Department of Civil Engineering and Geological Sciences will coordinate service projects with several clients during the fall 2006 semester, including the City of South Bend Potawatomi Zoo and the YMCA Camp Eberhart. These are cross-curriculum team projects that have a civil engineering emphasis, but most teams benefit from input by almost every discipline or undergraduate major. The current approach is to offer these service projects through the courses CE 25600 (first-year and sophomores), CE 35600 (juniors), and CE 45600 (seniors), which are entitled “Civil Engineering Service Projects.”
