Environmental Hydrology

The Environmental Hydrology focus area contributes to an understanding of the movement of water in the environment. Included in this focus area is significant expertise in numerical, stochastic, field, and laboratory methods. Research opportunities center on the development of sophisticated computer models for prediction of tidal and hurricane impact, the interpretation of chemical and biologic signatures for the quantification of uncertainty and temporal change in hydrologic systems, and water resources in developing countries.
