Peer Tutoring Program
One-on-one Peer tutoring is available for any undergraduate student in most business courses. Students seeking tutoring must meet with the tutor coordinator in Room 101 for a tutor request form and intake interview. While the tutoring is free, a student must commit to meeting with his or her tutor a minimum of 1 hour per week for the entire semester.
Students are paired with tutors on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the availability of tutors. The final day to request a tutor corresponds with the drop date, but students are more likely to be paired up with a tutor if the request is submitted during the first three to four weeks of classes. Requesting a tutor does not a guarantee that you will be paired.
We are always welcoming tutor applications, especially for those students who are comfortable tutoring junior/senior courses such as Managerial Econ, Macroeconomic Analysis, and major courses. Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, including high grades in the business courses they are interested in tutoring. Students interested in employment as a tutor must fill out the tutor application below and return it, in person, to Mendoza 101. All tutor applicants must interview before being placed.
