Junior- and Senior-level students who are not enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business frequently express interest in registering for business fundamentals courses. Beginning with the upcoming Fall 2007 semester, we have made changes to respond to that interest. We have opened seats in each of the eight business fundamentals courses which will now allow you to plan for the ability to gain the business knowledge that you seek to supplement your college academic pursuits. Each of the fundamentals courses – Accountancy I, Accountancy II, Corporate Finance Essentials, Principles of Management, Principles of Marketing, Business Statistics, Computer Business Applications, and Business Law – now has an accompanying course under the “BAUG” course code. These courses are open to any non-business Notre Dame junior or senior without college or department restriction (normal prerequisites do apply). Although the course code is different, each BAUG course carries the same title as the accompanying business fundamentals course. Every section of every fundamentals course has an accompanying BAUG section. The table below illustrates this information.
